About Laura Pretl, Ph.D.
As a Clinical Psychologist and Independent Educational Consultant, I have spent my entire career helping people attain their personal and professional goals. I have done this as a psychotherapist, management consultant, and as a high school college & career advisor. My credential in College Admission Counseling from U.C. Berkeley gives me the specific skillset needed to guide students through the labyrinth of college admissions, while my decades of listening and teaching stress management techniques inform my interactions throughout the entirety of the application process.
I believe college should not just be a time of academic learning and preparation for a career, but also a time for building relationships, building confidence, and getting to know oneself as a young adult. I feel honored to assist students on this journey.
